What the role looks like.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist with MI Smiles Dental, you will help patients feel comfortable, understand their oral health, and receive attentive preventive care.
- Review health histories and complete oral-health assessments
- Provide preventive and periodontal therapy within your scope
- Capture diagnostic images and document clinical findings
- Educate patients and recommend practical home-care steps
- Collaborate with dentists and the broader clinical team
- Maintain accurate records and infection-control standards
- Create a calm, respectful, and positive patient experience
What we are looking for.
We are looking for hygienists who combine sound clinical judgment with empathy, communication, and a team-oriented approach.
- Degree or diploma from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current license to practice dental hygiene in Michigan
- Knowledge of clinical, safety, and infection-control standards
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and teammates
- Commitment to accurate, attentive, patient-centered care
